Lavender - well known for its emotionally calming and relaxing properties, Lavender essential oil is great for birthing mothers, especially those who need help relaxing between strong surges. 
It can also ease any labour related anxiety. During pregnancy, it can promote sleep for those insomniac nights. 

Cypress - this too is known for its calming properties as it relieves stress induced nerves and tension. It's soothing and relaxing and can also be uplifting, creating a feeling of positivity during pregnancy when moods may feel a little low. 

Neroli - A popular natural remedy for anxiety as it has calming and uplifting properties. An oil we use in our 'Love Thyself' Candle to help promote self love and love towards others, making it a wonderful scent to have when connecting with your body and baby during pregnancy, and when welcoming them into the world.

Vetiver - a sensationally grounding oil that is perfect for moments of distress or panic. It's calming properties can ease high emotions and feelings of being overwhelmed. It is also used as an aphrodisiac, which is useful for when you and your birthing partner are working intimately together to raise oxytocin levels and create a beautiful birthing experience.
